Cool rosé for a hot weekend…again! Seven Hills 2016 Columbia Valley Dry Rosé

It feels like the wine equivalent of Groundhog Day.

Once again, we’re heading into a very warm weekend.  And once again, we’re highlighting a very nice rosé to beat the heat.

Sorry for the repetition. We’ve been stuck in a bit of a pattern…responding to the summer weather forecasts with one rosé recommendation after another.  But when it’s over 90, there’s nothing better than a chilled glass of rosé.  And there are so many great rosés available in our target price range.

If you like your rosé on the dry side, meaning less sweet, you’ll like this version from Seven Hills .  It’s light, refreshing and would work just fine as a party sipper.  But unlike most of the sweeter rosés out there,  Seven Hills would also pair quite well with food, including salmon, shellfish and salads.

As long as the weather pattern holds, we’ll keep recommending rosés.  So it will be Groundhog Day over and over again.  Hopefully Bill Murray will approve.
