It’s Wine Thursday! For your Easter meal, how about a popular Oregon pinot?

For pairing wine with food,

Easter’s one tough holiday

There is no single, across-the-board, everyone-is-serving-it main course.

Ham you say?

Maybe, but even ham comes in so many variations.

It could be glazed, cured or smoked…

all different flavors that would call for a different wine match.

Easter leaves us with no other alternative

than to recommend a wine that works well with a variety of dishes

but also is just fine on its own.

Four Graces 2017 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Four Graces’ entry-level Pinot Noir has a lot going for it

such as classic Oregon Pinot tart cherry flavor, earthiness and pleasing acidity.

In general, it would pair well with ham and most other Easter table dishes.

If the pairing isn’t perfect, it drinks well all by itself.

Make sure you open it, then chill it in the fridge

for up to 30 minutes before serving.

And it’s easy to find

Costco has Four Graces for just under $19.

You’ll also find it at Market of Choice for $23,

Safeway and QFC for $24

and Fred Meyer and New Seasons for just under $25.
