23 May On KATU Afternoon Live, we salute Oregon Wine Month with four Oregon wines…that aren’t pinot noir!
When you think of Oregon Wine,
you think of Pinot Noir, of course
but there are so many other types of wine
being produced in “The Beaver State”
(that is the state slogan but we’re leading a movement
to change it to “The Wine State”).
On our latest appearance on KATU Afternoon Live,
we poured four Oregon wines that weren’t Pinot Noir
and as you’ll see, the star of the show, Trá Renee, voiced her approval.
BTW, there’s nothing quite as scary as a closeup of yourself
on one of today’s high-definition TV studio cameras
They don’t miss a wrinkle. Oh well.
You name it, we poured it: Pinot Gris, Rosé of Pinot Noir,
Grüner Veltliner and a Claret.
As always on this show, we had a lot of fun.
