Talking and pouring under-the-radar Oregon wines on KATU’s Afternoon Live

The two pinots…pinot noir and pinot gris…dominate the Oregon wine scene.

But there are many…dozens!…of other vibrant and vital varietals produced in our state that go under appreciated.

Thus, we focused the spotlight on those unsung Oregon wines on our latest appearance on KATU’s Afternoon Live.

KATU’s ever-ebullient host, Tra’Renee Chambers, once again rose to the occasion, sampling no less than four different wines in seven minutes.  Yay Tra!

So many varietals…so little time.  We weren’t able to mention Oregon riesling and gewürtztraminier and pinot blanc and müller-thurgau and chardonnay and syrah….and on and on and on.

But we encourage you to go beyond the pinot and sample the impressive variety of Oregon wines that are right there staring back at you from the shelves of your favorite store.  It’s Oregon Wine Month…expand your vinous horizons!
